3 last goals yesterday

1. during the day get "wasted" -> check

2. go to first beachbar on Las Americas beach -> check

3. go back to Los Cristianos and have drink at a nice bar I found 2 days ago -> no check

Just a last view from my hotel this last morning, I'm going home today :(

Such a beautiful building just being wasted for nothing, this could such a nice beachbar and restaurant, now just rubbish, closed up by fences.

Aah such a beautiful day, having beers near the beach. Fastest WIFI in Las Cristianos. I do not remember the name of the place.

Goal no. 1 achived.

3 goal was a not accomplished as I walk to Las Americas and watched the surfers for a long time, got some nice actionpictures.

Large beer at "Friends" bar, very nice place. 

Lunch at "Friends", so good garlicebread with pesto, parma ham, parmasan cheese and roccola sallad.

After lunch I had too have a Sangria to finnish of the 1 goal, get "wasted" ;) A really big glas of Sangria, 50cl !?!? 3 Euro.

Yet another "sunset" photoshoot

There is an elderly man training here"everyday", Boule,  I do not know but it is the second time I have seen him here. He is really working it out and also polishing the courtyard everytime.

Sunset and dinner

Last night, 8 Jan, a was out on the rocks and did some filming and took some photos mostly with my DSLR, the below pictures is my Iphone 5. 

It was a really nice and warm evening but as soon as the sun set it got colder and the "hoddie" had too be put on.

At dinner I first ordered a large beer and while looking at the menu I realized that I haven't had garlicbread this trip or have I? So I order it in anyway. Mmmm so good and crispy.

Of course the complementary snack arrived as well, I love these fried onionrings with sweet hot chilli souce. 

... and stupido me ordered a large dish, well I did not know it would this big and the waiter just said, more or less, some fish, shrimps, ... so here it is.

It was really good, the hot red souce mmm, 4 different fishes, salmon, tuna, sardines, "some fish", 5 shrimps, 5 mussels, sallad, 4 potatoes.

To much for me at least I tried everything and the stränge thing to me was that I actually thought the sardines tasted OK.

The Wanderer

I have been so lazy this year.

What happen when I came here was that being with my brother and his family for a week we had been walking from here to there, all around.

This got me started on going for walks everyday ... this is not a New Year promise it is just an awakening.

Starting point is of course the hotel. A new view of the hotel I do not think I have a picture from this angle.

I found this little shop that rents out electric bicycles, one nice/cool thing is that the bicycle actually have a selfiestick mounted in the front. 

Walk the walk of avoiding crashing into someone.

Pretty early walk to Las Americas, best time is really early as the masses of people is coming and the beach walkway will be filled and there is almost no space, you have to be aware of your surroundings all the time otherwise you go into someone, be run over by a bicycle or electrical driven vehicle of some kind. Los Cristianos is one of the first recreation

The small dots are actually surfers, today seems like a great surfday. Lots of big waves.

Surfers paradise on the beach below, so many small kids as well doing the waves, I'm impressed.

The Canarian way of life

After the morning walk and before lunch I rested with a cold Dorada beer. They taste pretty OK ;-)

Dorada taste better with a nice view of the sea and of course in the sun.

On the house snack along with the beer, fried onionsrings with some sweet chili souce. This could be OK for starters if you add, like 4 more onionrings.

Me like a lot!!!

Lunch is a classic, pasta bolognese and a cup of parmesan cheese.

Later it got a bit cloudy as can been seen on the photo of my hotel, Guayero.

A man fishing(in the milde of the picture), it did not seem easy going out there in low tide but I also saw him when the tide had turned and he was completly souranded by water, I do not know how he got back. I guess very vet anyhow.
